BATHURST REGIONAL ART GALLERY
Inscape Projects Group
04/27/2016

Bathurst recently celebrated 200 years since it was proclaimed a town by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in 1815 making it the oldest inland settlement.

Inscape Projects Group had the privilege of working with the Bathurst Regional Council on the refurbishment of the Bathurst Art Gallery which is situated in the heart of Bathurst.  The gallery plays a very important role in connecting people with art and is one of Bathurst’s tourist attractions.

The Bathurst Regional Council awarded this project to Inscape Projects Group having seen our outstanding portfolio of completed projects. The scope was to totally refurbish the Bathurst Art Gallery with the focus being on lighting which is very important in enhancing the features in the art and paintings.  The scope also included for Inscape to remove and replace the suspended ceilings, supply and install all the lighting and gyprock lined partition walls.

Lighting is always critical in an Art Gallery and our design team worked to incorporate the best outcome in terms of the experience the visitors have when visiting.  They delivered!

Right from design concepts through to project completion, our team was focused and dedicated with one thing in mind; delivering an experience to the visitors of the gallery that would stay with them for years to come.

As you will see from the images, this goal was achieved with an excellent feel and outstanding lighting.
