Orange City Council was seeking to work with Inscape Projects Group due to Inscape being suitably qualified and experienced in handling projects from design, construct and install.  The council needed a new reception counter for the entry foyer of the Orange Regional Gallery.

The Gallery had a concept design for the new reception desk which the team at Inscape worked with to get final designs for approval. Modifications to the design to assist in build-ability or cost implications would only be considered in consultation with Council and the Inscape team handled this with great ease and confidence.

Council allowed 2 design meetings with Inscape for consultations allowing Inscape to work closely and seamlessly with the client.

Due to Gallery operations the reception desk required the provision for a number of electrical services which were built into the unit. The required services were chased into the floor making the services and required wire neat and tidy.

The scope of works included but were not limited to;

• Inscape was required to consult with Orange Council to fully develop the concept designs and to ensure the design was within the allocated budget.
• Provide Council final shop drawings with dimensions and material specifications.
• Supply and prefabricate off site and then install the new reception counter within the required time frame.

The team at Inscape demonstrated their ability to work closely with the client, designers and contractors to deliver the desired outcome.
